we are looking for a test engineer to develop and execute manual and automated tests in order to ensure the quality of our products. as a test engineer he/she will estimate, plan, and coordinate the testing activities. he/she will also ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in our defect tracking system. the position is open in rome.

your tasks

• review requirements, specifications and technical design documents together with product managers and developers to provide timely and meaningful feedback • create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases • create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured technical guidelines • execute test procedures and analyze results • detect, document and track software and/or hardware issues • verify bug fixes • plan and perform drive tests

your qualifications

• bachelor or master degree in engineering, computer science or a related subject • technical background and general understanding of the telecom industry • basic knowledge of mobile network technologies (gsm, wcdma, cdma, lte, nr) • basic knowledge of computer network technologies (tcp/ip, ndis, routing) • basic knowledge of windows and android operating systems • basic knowledge of automation frameworks and programming languages (c , c#, java, • javascript, python (or similar) • basic knowledge of sql server and sql management studio is highly appreciated • excellent verbal and written communication skills in english, german is an advantage • precise and attentive to details • flexible, independent and self-motivated • able to work in a collaborative, global environment • istqb® (international software testing qualifications board) certifications are highly appreciated • driving license
