your tasks

• perform rudimentary and functional testing on pcb assemblies using test fixtures and test system
• troubleshoot and repair defective boards to the component level using schematics and test equipment
• document failure modes, repair actions, and test results accurately in logs or databases
• use oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and other diagnostic equipment effectively
• support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring board-level failures
• communicate findings and recommendations to production, engineering and quality teams
• interpret and work from schematics, layout diagrams, test procedures, and assembly drawings
• assist in the development and improvement of test processes and troubleshooting guides

your qualifications

• diploma in electronics, telecommunication technology or relevant engineering field
• 2 years of experience testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies at the board level
• strong understanding of analog and digital circuit principles
• proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and pcb layout drawings
• hands-on experience with soldering, desoldering, and rework of electronic components
• experience in using test instruments including oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzer, and power supplies
• familiarity with ipc-a-610 and ipc-7711/7721 standards
• strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• experience in a contract manufacturing or high-mix, low-volume environment
• familiarity with automated test systems or boundary scan tools
• experience working with rf or high-speed digital circuits is a plus
